School of Archaeology and Anthropology

The School of Archaeology and Anthropology within the ANU is concerned with the documentation and analysis of diverse social worlds from the perspectives of three academic disciplines.

School of Art

The ANU School of Art (SoA) prepares students for professional careers in visual arts, media arts and design.

 

School of Cultural Inquiry

This School is one of the largest and most varied Schools in the Research School of Humanities and the Arts bringing together disciplines of the Humanities: Art History, Classics and Ancient History, Drama, English, Film & New Media and Gender, Sexuality and Culture.

School of Language Studies

Our school aims at excellence in research and teaching in linguistics and modern European languages. Our success is recognised in the 2011 QS world university rankings, where ANU is ranked as 6th in the world for modern languages, and 10th for linguistics.

 

School of Music

The ANU School of Music is committed to offering music graduates high level qualifications that position them strongly for careers as 21st century music professionals.

Interdisciplinary Humanities Group

The Interdisciplinary Humanities Group (IHuG) encompasses the Digital Humanities Hub, Institiute for the Professional Practice in Heritage and the Arts (IPPHA), the Humanities Research Centre, Rock Art Research Centre, the Freilich Foundation and the Centre for European Studies.
