Professor Nicolas Peterson wins a VC staff excellence award

At last week's Vice-Chancellor's Staff Excellence Awards event, Professor Nicolas Peterson won the Reconciliation Award.

This award recognises the contributions of individuals or groups to promoting and achieving increased participation of Indigenous students and staff at the University, and to achieving the vision and targets set out in The Australian National University Reconciliation Action Plan.

Professor Peterson is Professor of Antropology in the School of Archaeology and Anthropology and directs the Centre for Native Title Anthropology in the ANU Institute for Professional Practice in Heritage and the Arts.
